Since founding the Number Fun, Dave has spoken at a growing number of Teacher Training Events in LAs around the country.  These events are geared to equipping teachers to creatively use songs in their teaching of mathematics. Dave has recently completed a Masters Degree which explored why Number Fun and the whole area of teaching and learning. Within each training event Dave shares his insights and research, explores the three different types of Number Fun songs and presents the theory behind their use. Each session is packed with the presentation and exploration of different songs, whilst providing those who attend with the theoretical background they need to understand why Number Fun has proved to be so successful!

Dave’s presentation is always visual and interactive, with the key principles are often delivered through a gameshow format. Teachers are encouraged to engage in the presentation of the songs – modelling how they would be used in a classroom.
