1. Play them - at home and in the car!
2. Adapt them - change the words, values!
3. Act out the song - pretend to be the characters in the song!
4. Actions - make up some actions to the words of the song!
5. Props - find some things around the house that will help you visualise the song.
6. Pause - Play the song, stop it and challenge the child to solve the problem or state the next line.
7. Jigsaw - Write out the words of the song, or draw pictures, and play with them!
8. Pair - again with words or pictures. This time find the words that go together.
9. School - sing the songs that the children have been doing at school! Discuss with them how the children did the song, the theme, the skills, why they like the song etc. It's a great way of doing your homework!
10. Create - your own songs and rhymes, with the children!
