Christmas Number 1 Sample Pages
To give a great feel for the Number Fun Nativity we've provided three downloads for you, a page of the script, a song music score and a couple of pages from the Book Art section.
The nativity story is told through the eyes of an innkeeper’s brother called Simeon and 2 children who travel back in time in a special “Time Rocket”. The two main characters (Chris and Phil) are given a set of “Time Goggles” and “Time Jackets”, which they wear as they travel back to the little town of Bethlehem! See how it all begins on the first page of the Director’s Script.
The 8 songs can be shortened, dropped or adapted as you feel necessary. In trialling, each school adapted the materials to some extent in order to fit their own situations, each time producing an accomplished performance. The sheet music for all the songs are in the book so you can perform the music yourself and adapt the songs as you see fit.
You will find at the back of the book a set of photocopyable pages designed to help your children make an interactive book. This book will help them remember the Christmas story and “Christmas Number 1” narrative. We hope you find these really helpful and lots of fun.
